The basil is harvested in the early morning when their essential oils (that's the flavour, colour and aroma) are at their peak and then transported to our Palmwoods factory where they are washed, chopped and cold blended for fresher flavour that lasts for 4 weeks*. Basil is best added towards the end of your cooking and is ideal in Italian cuisine like pesto, pasta, pizza, creamy sauces, dressings, soups and frittatas.
